Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Rory is a partner in the New York office. He specializes in tenant advisory and workplace strategy with a focus on high growth technology, advertising, media and information companies. He is a member of Transwestern’s Board of Directors and currently serves on the Executive Committee.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Since joining Transwestern in January 2015, Rory has completed transactions for a broad range of clients including BDG, Adyen, Button, Walmart and Berkshire Hathaway. In 2018 he was named to Real Estate Forum’s national “50 under 40” list and was recognized in Transwestern’s Champions Club in 2019 and 2020. Rory has worked on 3 million square feet of agency assignments in his Transwestern tenure, including 2 Wall Street, 16 East 34th Street and The Landmark at Eastview. Prior to joining Transwestern, Rory was an associate director at Cushman & Wakefield, where he completed over 1.5 million square feet in tenant representation transactions. In his time there, he was named one of the “20 to Watch” in Commercial Real Estate by the Commercial Observer.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Rory is actively involved in Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association (YMWREA) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

EDUCATION

Rory received his bachelor’s degree in history from Colby College, where he was a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team and recipient of the George J. Mitchell Scholarship.
