TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Cece is an Executive Vice President for Transwestern’s tenant advisory and workplace solutions group in Chicago. She specializes in complex, multi-market portfolio workouts and restructurings for both local and national clients in the private equity, education and healthcare sectors. Through her extensive experience, Cece has developed a holistic, full-scale approach by educating herself on how her client’s function, from top to bottom, to implement a real estate strategy to produce maximum results.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Cece has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience. During her tenure at Transwestern, Cece has completed over 4.8 million square feet of transactions. In 2005, she represented Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) in the negotiation and purchase of their $76 million build-to-suit, 12-story, 394,000-square-foot West Loop headquarters. Cece oversaw the restructuring of Education Corporation of America’s 75-campus portfolio and, most recently, she provided real estate due diligence on behalf of multiple private equity companies during their acquisition processes.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern, Cece was an executive vice president at Dotspot, where she ran operations and marketing and developed three successful facilities totaling 120,000 square feet within 12 months. Before that, Cece was an executive vice president and team leader for Jones Lang LaSalle, where, in her final year, she completed over 30 transactions and generated the highest revenue in her specialty. Within nine years at JLL, Cece advanced from associate to executive vice president, winning awards in leasing, management and top performance.

EDUCATION

Cece received her bachelor’s degree in history from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s J.L Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
