TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Mark is responsible for originating and executing real estate investment sales and multi-discipline service opportunities throughout the Southwest region. In addition to acting as an investment sales practitioner, Mark performs court-appointed receiver duties operating and monetizing distressed commercial real estate properties across Texas for various special servicers such as ING and LNR as well as other money center financial institutions. These receivership engagements require his involvement in regaining asset control via diligent property management operations, reducing expenses, and overseeing leasing efforts ultimately resulting in increasing cash flow and enhancing asset value.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Mark has over 30 years of real estate and finance experience. Formerly with JP Morgan Chase Bank for 15 years, he served in a credit and lending capacity, originating construction and development loans and managing their regional real estate credit portfolio. Mark also worked in the bank's loan management group where he was responsible for managing distressed credits statewide and monetizing foreclosed assets. Mark was successful in achieving 640 individual property sales totaling over $475 million and playing a role in attaining an overall non-performing portfolio reduction of nearly $1 billion.

Mark serves within local chapters of several national real estate organizations including ULI, CCIM, HAR, and NAIOP.

EDUCATION

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
