CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Steve’s skill and experience in the industry was an integral part of the rapid growth for two of the area’s larger real estate firms.  In 1995 Steve was Vice President of Zeller Realty Corporation and was responsible for the development of the firm’s successful third-party brokerage group while representing nearly 1.5 million square feet of office space.  Preceding his responsibilities at Zeller, Steve headed the office leasing division for Welsh Companies, growing this group during his 11 year tenure.  Steve also worked with Towle Real Estate Companies and Charles Hall & Associates in both development and leasing capacities.

During Steve’s tenure at Welsh Companies, the office leasing division grew from 20,000 square feet to its present 4.3 million square feet.  Along with his 12 office leasing agents, the division represented clients and completed leasing transactions averaging one million square feet annually, with lease considerations totaling $70 million annually.

Steve’s aggressive representation of landlords in a difficult marketplace contributed to the unparalleled  success of several suburban office projects: NFC Tower (434.000 s.f.), Prairie Lakes Corporate Center (131,000 s.f.), BLN Office Park (326,000 s.f.) and Metro Office Park (560,000 s.f.).

While at Zeller Realty, Steve developed the firm’s successful third-party brokerage group and continued his representation of nearly 1.5 million square feet of office space including the NFC Tower and the BLN Office Park.  Early in his career, Steve was instrumental in the development of the Butler Square (370,000 s.f.), the TCF Tower (290,000 s.f.), and the National City Bank Building (200,000 s.f.).
