San Antonio – Transwestern’s San Antonio office today announces Larry Mendez, Executive Managing Director, represented Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) in a 3,103-square-foot new lease expansion of their administrative facilities at Centre Plaza, located at 45 NE Loop 410. After executing the transaction, Mendez donated over $13,000 to the local charity.
“As a member of CASA’s board of governors, I am especially proud to present this donation on Transwestern’s behalf,” said Mendez. “Through community volunteers and CASA efforts, thousands of children are given a voice they would otherwise not have in critical decisions about their lives. No other agency in Bexar County provides this service.”
The mission of CASA is to recruit, train, and supervise court-appointed volunteer advocates who provide constancy for abused and neglected children and youth while advocating for services and placement in safe and permanent homes. CASA is part of a nationwide organization of Court Appointed Special Advocates with more than 900 local chapters in 50 states. Locally, CASA was established in 1984 and has served the children of Bexar County for almost 35 years.
