SUSTAINABILITY SERVICES

Transwestern’s Sustainability Services team members are operational and energy efficiency experts providing a higher level of service to clients across the country and around the world. While we continue to grow our capabilities and amass awards, our approach to sustainability will always be people driven and client-focused.

The way we see it, better is bigger.

BETTER ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Utilizing ENERGY STAR®, we have benchmarked more than 398 office buildings, totaling 77.38 million square feet and reduced annual electricity use by more than 5 billion kBtu. Our programs have earned ENERGY STAR awards for 13 consecutive years, and we were the first third-party real estate services firm to win both the Partner of the Year and Sustained Excellence awards.

BETTER OPERATIONS

We are a Platinum member of the U.S. Green Building Council and have certified 114 buildings totaling 37.44 million square feet under multiple LEED® rating systems. Our efforts have saved more than 62.25 million gallons of water annually, recycled 4,855 tons of waste and reduced CO2 emissions by 339,521 tons.

BETTER SPECIALISTS

Our dedicated sustainability experts are collaborative entrepreneurs who blend passion with an ownership and service mentality to deliver The Transwestern Experience. As the first in the industry to make sustainable operations and maintenance the norm, we have unsurpassed experience in improving building efficiency and reducing operating costs for institutional investors and private owners.
